The new collection of lampshades Casulo, signed by Studio Sadalla in partnership with Ateliê Mãos de Tinta, in addition to valuing artisanal making, the creative process of the pieces is based on the recycling of materials.
The lamps, which have bases mined in antique shops, including a rarity of the São Bento Monastery, have domes rescued from the industry itself that discarded them. Each of them was lined with silk painted by hand by the artist Fe Foz, who was inspired by the old lamps, bringing to mind the glamor of the 1960s and 1970s, in the exaltation of colors, shapes and graphics.
Each piece has an exclusive design and a unique base, with materials ranging from blown glass, recycled glass, turned wood, rattan to iron.
The collection consists of the Acqua, Botanica, Flora, Jardim, Animal Print, Laca and Mosteiro lines.
The Zodiax line are 12 fixtures inspired by each of the constelations assigned to the astrological signs. Each piece has been designed and manufactured through a 'hand made' process, including the development of a special lens, hand blown, that could transform the LED into a more comfortable and calming light source. Each fixture is controlled by a dimmer making it possible to be adapted to any lighting system.
TAYLOR MADE - Personalized pendant with exclusive design for the environment of the architect Tatiana Campos Melo at CasaCor Bahia 2019, the lamp is composed of a brass ring mobile and 8 hand blown glass balls, in the shape of baroque pearl and golden painting, and was installed in a 7m high span.
